AI Enablement

AI that lightens the load, not another thing to manage.

Most teams don't need more tools. They need someone to cut through the noise, find the few that matter, and help their people actually use them. That's what I do: practically, ethically, and with your capacity in mind. I've run an AI startup, written the grants that funded it, and shipped my own AI products, so my advice comes from doing, not from a webinar.

Who it's for

Built for teams with a mission and not much slack.

Nonprofits & charities

Do more for the people you serve without growing headcount: grant writing, comms, admin, and reporting, made lighter.

Small & medium businesses

Find the AI that earns its keep in your real workflows, and skip the expensive experiments that go nowhere.

Founders & solo operators

Punch above your weight. The right setup lets one person run what used to take a team, sustainably.

What I offer

Clear offers, clear starting prices.

I keep pricing transparent so you can self-qualify before we ever talk. Nonprofit and sliding-scale rates are real: mission budgets are why I do this work. Every engagement starts with the assessment.

The AI Fit Assessment

Seven deliverables, one honest map.

A workflow audit plus team interviews, typically two to four weeks depending on the size of your team, always tool-agnostic. You walk away with a plan you could hand to anyone, and a debrief where I tell you the truth, even when the truth is that you don't need me.

If a recommendation ever touches a tool I built, I say so out loud and show you the alternatives first. That rule is the whole business.

Book an assessment
  • AI Opportunity Map: every function scanned for where AI helps, hinders, and where to hold back.
  • The Wellbeing Read: which moves give your team time back vs. quietly add burnout.
  • Prioritized Roadmap: a 30/60/90 plan from foundations to your highest-value workflow.
  • Tool Shortlist: category-first recommendations with privacy notes, including tools I didn't build.
  • Guardrails Starter: a first-draft AI-use policy plus data-privacy do's and don'ts.
  • Live Debrief: a working session on the findings and your honest options.
  • Written Report: board- and funder-ready, all in one place.
The lens

Wellbeing first. Always.

AI should give people their time and attention back, not flood them with more outputs to wrangle. Every recommendation I make is filtered through one question: does this reduce the load on a human being?

That means honest advice about what AI can't or shouldn't do, careful attention to privacy and data, and a Canadian-first preference for tools that respect where your data lives.

  • Anti-burnout by design: capacity is the real constraint.
  • Privacy- and data-sovereignty aware, Canada-first.
  • Category over brand: you learn to choose, not just copy.
  • No hype. If a tool won't help, I'll tell you.
Proof, not promises

I build the things I recommend.

Before I ever advised anyone on AI, I co-founded and led a Canadian AI startup for five years, and I still ship software every week. Grant Shifter is my grant-discovery and writing tool for Canadian nonprofits and small businesses: it searches 3,000+ live grants, awards and challenges, explains the fit, and drafts with you while you stay the author.

One honest rule comes with that: if a tool I built ever shows up in a recommendation to you, I say so out loud and show you the alternatives first.
